Prompt in Progress is an AI ecosystem builder uniting builders, creators, and innovators across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. Born from Timothy Chau, founder of AI Tinkerers Hong Kong, we are the wider home for technical and non-technical builders, with AI Tinkerers Hong Kong as our focused technical community.

Our name reflects our philosophy: every interaction with AI is a prompt, and we are perpetually in progress, learning, building, and growing together.
Vision. An ecosystem where no one prompts alone: builders, creators, and the curious meet, learn, and build together — with progress that stays human. Relationships over transactions, stories over mailing lists, showing up over polish.

We are a community, not a corporation. Prefer real people, active verbs, and honest specificity.
Bilingual standard // 雙語準則
English leads. Traditional Chinese welcomes.
Marketing and community-facing content should pair primary English with concise Traditional Chinese. Translate meaning and tone, not syntax. Do not use Simplified Chinese as the default for Hong Kong communications. Mark translations with lang="zh-Hant"; use Inter and maintain comfortable line-height. Legal documents may remain complete in English where an approved translation is unavailable.
