We are a community of builders, creators, and innovators across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area who refuse to sit on the sidelines of this technological shift. We are here to spark change in our region.
We acknowledge the uncertainty of the future, yet we embrace the "in-between", the space where progress is defined not by having certainty, but by the relentless pursuit of crafting the next prompt.
We are not just event organizers. We are building an ecosystem.

"When I first started building an AI community in Hong Kong back in 2024, I started with no network, no resources, and no backing. It was sheer dedication and the belief that we needed a technical community in the city, and that we indeed have builders in the region.
I would go to conferences, wait until the panels were over, and introduce what I was building to the speakers in hopes that they would host us. There were a lot of rejections and cold shoulders, but in less than a few years, we grew very quickly. We met friends who now call this community home, and we have partnered and worked with many partners that I never would have imagined.
The reason why I started these events on a pro-bono basis, kept our monthly meet-ups open, and hosted them consistently, is that I believe events are not just a mere value exchange. We can genuinely learn from each other and explore the journey of AI together. I want people to leave feeling inspired, rather than just feeling like they attended 'another event.'
We are builders of people, not event organizers. We are about stories and feelings, not just a name on a marketing mailing list or a corporate KPI.
After hosting these events, I feel there is a bigger calling: we can genuinely build an ecosystem that supports one another.

Honestly, I have no idea exactly how this ecosystem will look, which is why it is 'in progress.' But I believe that if we are intentional and deliberate in building the ecosystem in the region-just like how we prompt with intention-we can genuinely create great things and manifest our dreams into reality.
I believe we have a duty to be inclusive.
Beyond our technical meetups, we have a calling as humans to help others understand this technology. There is so much more we can do to bridge the gap.
Here, we embrace imperfection. We embrace the 'in-betweens.' We embrace what is in progress. This is a community where we can be lost and confused; everything we are witnessing is new and disruptive, but we can navigate it together.
