Hong Kong builders are recognised on the world stage. Two global hackathons. Two city firsts.兩場全球黑客松，兩個香港首次。本地建設者站上世界舞台。
Google DeepMind had never hosted a hackathon in Hong Kong before. We changed that, bringing the Generative UI A2UI framework to the city and giving local builders direct access to one of the world's leading AI research teams.

Hong Kong's first hackathon backed globally by OpenAI, OpenRouter, and CopilotKit. Through the AI Tinkerers global network, local builders competed alongside more than 45 cities worldwide. Out of 687 submitted projects across 50 cities, two teams from Hong Kong made it to the finals, and brought home first place.
