By registering for, purchasing a ticket to, or attending any Prompt in Progress event — including meetups, workshops, hackathons, networking sessions, and community activities — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Event Terms & Liability Waiver ("Event Terms").
Where registration is processed through a third-party platform such as Luma, ticking the acceptance checkbox or completing your registration constitutes your binding acceptance of these Event Terms. If you do not agree to these Event Terms, please do not register for or attend the event.
These Event Terms apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to govern your use of our Services generally. By registering, you also consent to the sharing of your registration data with an event's Co-Hosts as described in our Terms of Service (Section 6) and Privacy Policy.
Attendance at our events is voluntary and undertaken entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prompt in Progress, its founders, organisers, volunteers, venue hosts, and affiliates (collectively, the "Organizers") shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to you, your property, or your personal effects arising out of or in connection with your attendance at or participation in any event. Nothing in these Event Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
You confirm that you are physically and medically fit to attend and participate in the event, and you attend at your own discretion. You acknowledge that the Organizers are not responsible for providing medical care, and you agree to arrange your own medical attention if needed.
Our events are organised to facilitate learning, networking, and community building. Content presented by speakers, sponsors, or attendees is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or technical advice.
The Organizers make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content shared at events, and do not guarantee any specific outcomes from attending — including but not limited to career opportunities, business connections, partnerships, or technical results. Any decisions you make based on content shared at our events are made at your own risk.
By attending our events, you consent to the Organizers and our partners photographing, recording audio, and capturing video footage of attendees, speakers, and the event environment for promotional, archival, and commercial purposes.
These materials may be published on our website, social media channels, marketing materials, or shared with event partners, without compensation to you. If you do not wish to be depicted in such materials, please notify us at hello@promptinprogress.com before the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
You are not permitted to record, photograph, or live-stream sessions without the explicit consent of the Organizers and the participants involved.
Our events may feature sponsors, exhibitors, and partners who present their own content, products, or services. The Organizers do not endorse, warrant, or accept responsibility for any claims, products, services, offers, or presentations made by sponsors, partners, or third-party exhibitors.
Any interactions, transactions, or dealings you have with sponsors, partners, or other attendees — including the exchange of contact details and follow-up communications — are conducted solely between you and them. The Organizers shall not be liable, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from such interactions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your attendance at or participation in any event, your violation of these Event Terms, your violation of any rights of another party, or your own conduct at the event.
These Event Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising under these Event Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
