We reserve the right to remove any user from our community or events for behaviour that violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.
All content on our website and related materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and code, is the property of Prompt in Progress or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any content from our Services without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
The "Prompt in Progress" name, logo, and branding are our trademarks. You may not use them without our express permission.
When you register for and attend our events, you agree to:
We and our partners reserve the right to take photographs, record audio, and capture video footage at our events for promotional, archival, and commercial purposes. By attending, you consent to being depicted in such materials unless you notify us in advance.
Attendees under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to register for or attend our events, and the guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor's conduct and supervision.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee from an event without refund for a violation of these Terms or for conduct that we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.
We also reserve the right to cancel, modify, or deny access to any event, registration, or community channel at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or explanation. Where an event is cancelled by us, the refund provisions of Section 7 (Event Registration & Refund Policy) shall apply.
Our events may be hosted or co-hosted by partner organisations, sponsors, or co-organisers (collectively, "Co-Hosts"). To help events run smoothly, we may share limited participant data with an event's Co-Hosts. This may include your name, email address, organisation, title, and other information you provide at registration.

This policy governs all event registrations, ticket purchases, and community bookings managed by Prompt in Progress (hereafter referred to as "the Organizer"). By registering for any of our meetups, hackathons, or workshops, the participant ("Registrant") agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Because our community events feature limited venue capacity, every spot is highly valuable. Therefore, all event registrations and ticket sales are strictly 100% non-refundable.
To maintain the technical integrity of our community and ensure that all attendees meet the required builder/engineer criteria, ticket transfers are strictly prohibited.
Prompt in Progress reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to venue issues, speaker cancellation, severe weather (e.g., Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning), or force majeure.
Note on Fees: Because Luma and Stripe retain payment processing fees on all transactions, any refunds issued due to organizer cancellation will be for the net ticket price received by the Organizer, or a 100% face-value credit voucher for a future event.
Limitation of Liability: The Organizer is responsible only for the net cost of the event ticket. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prompt in Progress is not responsible or liable for any personal travel costs (including high-speed rail, ferry, or cross-border transport), lodging, or incidental expenses incurred by the participant due to a canceled or rescheduled event.
By completing your registration and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable, and Fee-Retaining Policy.
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services that are not owned or controlled by Prompt in Progress. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services.
Your use of third-party services such as Luma, WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components.
We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content provided through our Services, including information about AI technologies, events, or third-party offerings.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes from attending our events, using our community channels, or engaging with our content — including but not limited to career opportunities, business connections, or technical results. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time without prior notice or liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prompt in Progress and its founders, organisers, volunteers, venue hosts, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prompt in Progress and its representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to our community or interests.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
